Departure at your own expense from the airport of your choice; Registration and formalities for the flight to Luang Prabang. Dinner and night on board.
At your arrival to Luang Prabang airport you will be welcomed by your English speaking tour-guide and transfered to the city.Lunch at local restaurant.Your visit will start with Wat Xienthong temple, then discover Wat Aham and Wat Aham temples, the two oldest temple in town. Following by the stupa Melon located down Phousi Mount, emblematic hill of the town where you will enjoy sunset and visit the temple on the top. Visit the night market which is full of crafts objects of the region.Dinner at local restaurant. Night at hotel.
Walk around in a local market full of regional products and visit the former Royal Palace, Wat Wat and Longkhoun Chomphet temples in Luang Prabang.The day is devoted to the visit of Pak Ou sacred caves. Embarking on a boat heading to the caves located 32 km upstream, on the way you will stop at a village which produce local whiskey. You will observe the distillation of Lao Lau, local rice alcohol.Pursuit of the cruise and arrival to the caves, holding more than a thousand images of Buddha.Lunch at a local restaurant.Way back to Luang Prabang by road with a stop at the village of Ban Xangkhong known for its weaving workshop and then stop in Mulberry village specialized in printing.Dinner in a restaurant in town. Night at hotel.
Very early in the morning head to the city center to watch the Buddhist monks collect offerings from local people. After the ceremony, transfer to your hotel for the breakfast.Road to the Kuang Si Waterfalls through the authentic Laotian countryside with a stop at the village of Ban Naouan populated by Hmong ethnic minority. Lunch at local restaurant near the falls.Free time to admire the beautiful waterfalls and take a swim in the natural pool formed by the falls. At the end of the afternoon way back to Luang Prabang.Dinner at a local restaurant. Night at the hotel
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.At the airport you will be welcomed by your English speaking guide and transfered to the city to do some sightseeing around Ba Dinh square, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum from outside, the one pillar Pagoda famous for its original construction entirely in teak emerging from a pound.Late afternoon walking tour around the old quarter, the colonial style Operal, the Ly Thai To park and its imposing bronze statue of the Vietnamese king. Rickshaw tour around the old quarter, you will dive into the craziness of Hanoian traffic, perfect way to get to know the city better and the daily life of its inhabitants. Discover Hoan Kiem lake, the city’s landmark holding the Ngoc Son temple and the The Huc Bridge.This tour will end in a magnificent colonial style house where you will be enjoying a welcome dinner. Night at the hotel.
Road to Ninh Binh, also known as the "Halong Bay on land". Beautiful countryside road where authentic life can be observed. Boarding on a small boat to a stroll in the magnificent rice fields.The chosen site is "Thung Nang", still preserved and not as visited as other sites in the area. Bike ride or walk on the way to the village with superb karstic mountains landscapes. Lunch during the excursion.Road back to Hanoi. Dinner in a restaurant in town. Night at the hotel.
Departure to Hoa Binh through fascinating landscapes: cassava fields, tea plantations, rice fields... Arrival at destination, and installation in a wooden house on stilts of the Muong ethnic group. Bike ride or walk in Muong villages to explore their environment and their daily life. Lunch with the host family.Walk around the surroundings of the village in stunning sceneries. Road back to Hanoi.Dinner at a local restaurant. Night at hotel.
Visit of the temple of Literature. Lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for your return flight, registration formalities and boarding. Dinner and overnight on board.
